California corrections officials say two inmates stabbed three guards at a prison in Tehachapi and all state prisons have been locked down as a precaution.
Department of Corrections spokeswoman Terry Thornton said two sergeants and an officer were stabbed today and were in stable condition at local hospitals.
Thornton says the two inmates are affiliated with Southern California prison gangs.
State prisons will stay locked down until corrections staff can determine that the stabbing was an isolated incident.
Thornton says the inmates rushed the staff in an office on the maximum security general population yard shortly after 1 p.m.
Two weapons were recovered.

i just read the CCSO website,April 4, posting about the CCI incident. The first paragraph mentions 2 sergeants and 2 co's being injured. After that, they never mentioned the welfare or well being of the co's. The posting ends with:
"It is such a tragedy when staff is injured. We can only be thankful that our sergeants appear to be in stable condition, as of this report. Our prayers and thoughts are with both Sgt. Silva Jr. and Sgt. Slankard and their families."
I guess the co's well being doesnt matter to CCSO.
