A Blogmaster's Swan Song.

As of the close of business on October 3, 2008, I, the Blogmaster, will no longer be maintaining this Blog.

I would urge someone to step up to the plate and offer to volunteer to take the reigns of this blog. If you are interested, please contact Dean Drake the Chapter Secretary.

My decision does not come lightly and, after having been of service to CCPOA since 1972, it is now time to call it quits. . . More.

Well Cyber King it was a real pleasure, I know we started off a little rocky, but we proved to have the same goal in mind. And that is to share and pass information to the membership. You have been a great source of information to me and I hope that I have provided you with the same.

Thanks,
Dave Sitnbull Lopez
CCPOA Activist

I'm sure I will see you on Paco from time to time.

Hello,

This message is being generated by the CCPOA Members 4 Change movement. Who are we? We are CCPOA members and CDCR employees that have an interest in changing the ebb and flow of CCPOA. As you may know, CCPOA President Mike Jimenez, we like to call him "Rehab Mike," has been voted in by the local Chapter Presidents of CCPOA for another 3-years. Unlike a majority vote by the full membership, the process has gone to a vote by the local representation. This is much like the electoral college, so to speak. At any rate, a large majority of the membership is not happy to say the least. In fact, an individual from Corcoran opposed to Jimenez's idealogies was scratched as an eligible member to run against him - can we say dirty tactics.

CCPOA Members 4 Change currently has a website dedicated to becoming the hub to organize a recall of Jimenez. However, this will take much support. On this website is our point of view, a poll, a blog, links to media articles, and a guest book. Due to the website being new, it still lacks much information. However, as support grows so will the website. If you are tired of CCPOAs' image being tarnished by a President that has lost the ability to negotiate, please join our movement.

If you do want to support CCPOA Members 4 Change please forward this message to any CCPOA member or CDCR employee you have listed in your address book. Our success depends on your participation. Also, be sure to sign the guestbook or send an e-mail to CCPOAmembers4change@gmail.com. This is how we know how to contact you for signatures in a recall. Also leave your title and workplace. All addresses are kept confidential. They will not be forwarded to others nor will they ever be displayed in e-mail messages for others to read.

If you wish to be removed from this e-mail list send a reply.

Best Regard,

Ronald Raygun

i was a chapter pres. at one time and i was very disappointed at the practice and tactics used by the ec im not sure if all of the ec were aware of what was really going on but i could see it clearly and to be frank i kind of enjoyed it for a second but i felt bad and shut down.ill just sit back and watch along with others that can do anything about it because mj owns the chapter presidents who are suppose to be the ones running ccpoa.it was evident not only by his election but certain other chap.pres.thats alright if you can live with yourself and close your eyes to what is wrong and go along with the crowd you will pay to someone a lot higher than all of us.
